Corporate Yoga

Online Yoga Sessions

I've been teaching online for many years so I have lots of experience from using various platforms.  I run successful online courses with participants from all over world - focusing on helping individuals as well as whole work teams to handle stress and other challenges.  (Photo from Ibiza.)

In Person Yoga Sessions

I offer tailored yoga classes for your conferences and events. With over 25 years of teaching yoga full time, combined with my corporate background, I can guarantee that your team will get a very professional experience. My yoga classes aren't very spiritual nowadays (no chanting for example). I'm more interested in science, psychology and functional movement, in a non-dogmatic and way - and with humour! . Cultivate a Calm and Productive Team:
Corporate Yoga Solutions for Success

Yoga is indeed ancient and has a lot of wisdom in it that we can use in our modern lives. But is our life today really very different to what ancient yogis experienced? Of course! How often did THEY spend several hours per day at a computer? That is why the combination of this beautiful wisdom and modern science is so life enhancing. It can create a yoga that is perfect for our modern lifestyle and surprisingly strengthening for body and mind.

Yoga and mindfulness is a method that has become highly valued in the corporate world; it gives employees a wide range of tools for handling stress; which in turn reduces absenteeism due to sickness, and greatly increases efficiency.

This is well proven by research, i.e. from KI, Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm. In the studies at KI, it is fascinating to read that even small amounts of yoga counteract AND treat some of the biggest health issues in modern life, including depression, workday stress and burn out. Added to that it also helps develop a stronger, toned and healthier body – which makes it even more inviting!

What yoga can give you

• Reduced stress and resilience
• Increased productivity and focus
• Improved physical health

By incorporating corporate yoga into the workplace, companies can create a more harmonious, productive, and thriving environment for their employees, ultimately leading to a positive impact on the overall success of the organization.

What we offer

• Workshops or classes; single events or over a period of time
• Lectures on how to manage stress both at work and in everyday life through the practices of yoga and mindfulness
• Events (conferences etc)
• Privates: at the office or in your home if you prefer
• A customized solution for your employees

We live in a modern society with a very hectic lifestyle – finding time and energy to get into a good habit isn’t always easy – but the good news is, it really doesn’t take much time or energy to start with something SMALL – and with time this will reward you with a much healthier body and mind.

I can help you with pinpointing and deciding on what you need, and how to make yoga practice become part of your everyday routine in a smooth way. I collaborate with specialists within their fields: psychologists, physiotherapists, doctors and nutritionists.

About Jennie Wadsten Sharma

When I had a corporate job, yoga was just “something I did to stay sane” to handle the intense amount of stress. Eventually my love for yoga took me to India and as cliché as it may sound – I decided to quit my job in Stockholm and move to Goa. Ever since, my workplace has been all over the word, with India being my base and up until 2015 I was the manager of Brahmani Yoga drop-in centre, which is the biggest drop in yoga studio in North Goa; founded by Julie Martin in 2003.

Now I’ve been working full time as a yoga teacher for almost 20 year, teaching all over the world. I live in Stockholm, Sweden and Goa, India but nowadays most of my work is online – and my flexible timings makes it easy to schedule in clients all over the world. I run four yoga businesses, which keeps me busy but it’s so inspiring and my passion is to help people finding what works for them and how to fit it into their daily schedule: we’re all unique!

Having a corporate background is a strength in the yoga world: I’ve been there: I’ve experienced the stress and I understand the mindset. My approach to yoga is scientific but warm hearted.
